Why is DT Max not carrying forward to 2007 my trust's unused
non-capital loss and ABIL from 2004?
This situation occurs when it comes to carrying forward to 2007 unused
non-capital loss or ABIL from year 2004 (before 23/03/04 and after 22/03/04).
As a workaround:
- Access the 2007 tax year and go into your client's file;
- Then enter under the Loss-CF keyword group information with respect
to your unused non-capital loss and/or ABIL from year 2004;
- In order to find out what amount(s) should be entered in 2007, print out
the DT Max "2006 NON-CAPITAL LOSS CARRYFORWARD SCHEDULE". A version of
this form is also available for Quebec.
